Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)
PBT classes are invented by Australian ballet teacher Marie Walton-Mahon for ballet dancers of different ages to improve their ballet skills and posture. This technique is very effective and recognized worldwide. Deep work with posture, muscle memory and core muscles helps to work correctly with spine and whole body and also to have good balance in dance in future.
I recommend to attend PBT classes not only for ballet dancers but also for dancers of other styles, athletes and non-athletic people as they correct the posture (healthy spine), strengthen core muscles and whole body that helps to prevent injuries and improve dance or sports achievements.
For non-athletic people this class will be also great as it make body strong and flexible as well as yoga or pilates classes do.
Classes are divided into 2 levels:
- professional (for dancers and athletes)
- amateur (for non-athletic people)
